NEWS AT PENNSYLVANIA SCALE

PENNSYLVANIA SCALE NOW OFFER 1 PART IN 10,000 LEGAL FOR TRADE ACCURACY March 24, 1999, Leola, PA - Dale Bezzard, vice president of sales for Pennsylvania Scale Company, recently announced that the company's most popular line of scales - the 7000 Series - has been upgraded for higher accuracy. Re-engineered, the scales now boast a 1 part in 10,000 NTEP Approval, compared to the previous 1 in 5,000. The update will allow for higher end-user productivity through built-in efficiency. Scales included are: the Model 7100, Model 7200, Model 7300, Model 7500 and Model 7600.

According to Bezzard, the change has been in the works for more than six months. "Our engineering and approvals staff put in a lot of hours to get it done," he said. To increase accuracy to this level is a major undertaking. But by working in tandem with our production department, we were able to get this product improvement to market within a relatively short time frame. And, upgrading these scales to 1 part in 10,000 accuracy makes our company even more competitive in the marketplace.
